Please don’t bite me, I’m a newbie!
I’m a university student in a Wikipedia Education class, and I’m currently learning how to contribute to Wikipedia.
I am approaching my subject in good faith.
If you have any concerns or questions, my tutor’s name is MNNash (talk · contribs). Thanks!
I've just begun my third year of studies at the University of Sydney completing a Bachelor of Commerce and Advanced Studies. I major in Finance and International Business, where I have a keen interest in international affairs and mergers and acquisitions. This subject gives a great opportunity to hone in on my English writing skills, while completing a compulsory part of my degree. The course certainly is a fresh change from the business oriented subjects I have previously completed.
I would probably visit Wikipedia on average two or three times a week, very much dependent on the need of information. However, am very open to utilizing the resource more throughout this semester and beyond. Generally, if I was to look something up I would use a a google search where my first port of call would not have been Wikipedia due to its ambiguity. I believe though after completing this subject my view point on this may change greatly, something to which I'm looking forward to.
