The Zamboanga Basilan Sulu Tawi-Tawi Association of Private Schools (ZAMBASULTAPS) is a consortium of private schools in the regions of Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.[1] It was organized in 1979 by Fr. Ernesto Carretero, S.J., the former president of Ateneo de Zamboanga, to assist in coordination between private schools and government agencies in the regions of Western Mindanao and the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao, as well as conduct seminars and trainings for member schools.[2]
