He is a prominent political leader in Kerala politics. He was State Secretary of Muslim Students Federation Kerala, from 2010-2012, District President of Muslim Youth League Palakkad District [8]committee 2019-2021, District General Secretary of Muslim Youth League Palakkad District committee from 2016-2019, and Member of Kottopadam Grama Panchayat 2016-2020. He also serving currently as writer, Correspondent and Reporter Chandrika Daily[9]
