After spending a fair amount of time browsing Wikipedia, I have noticed that many articles contain irrelevant fluff. Most edits I have made remove the fluff. If I remove something from an article, do not revert it and post on my discussion page saying:
"Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to ARTICLE, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you."
I know what I am doing, and I am being constructive be removing terrible text. I always write in the discussion page for the article, so argue why the edit should be reversed before you do it.
