Assisted Suicide
I can add more to both the arguments in favor for and the arguments against them.
Assisted Suicide in Japan
Japan has yet to have an official law regarding euthanasia. Their policy has been deemed by two court cases. One was in Nagoya in 1962 while the other was at Tokai University in 1995. The first case involved passive euthanasia such as turning off life support while the other involved active euthanasia such as lethal injection. In both cases the doctors were found guilty. Nevertheless, at present, there is a tentative legal framework for implementing euthanasia in Japan.
This is a good start, and I think addressing the issue from the perspective of a foreign country is interesting. Using a source for the two doctors found guilty would make your argument more convincing, as well as adding to it a bit.
Good job aspen if you can I feel like the readers would appreciate more statistics involving the laws of japan for euthanasia. Overall good start possible include something about the public opinion for euthanasia in these specific countries.
