Jakub Dębski (born 10 June 1988), known online as Dem3000, is an illustrator, a cartoonist, a film critic and a comic writer. He owns a Demland publishing house.

Career

Webcomic and comics

In 2004, Dem started publishing webcomic series which he published on his side. His fist and most popular series of comics was Duże ilości naraz psów. His art style cosistst of basic stick figures and objects on basic white or gray background. After his comics rose to popularity, he started publishing them in paper form.

YouTube

In 2010 he started a YouTube channel called "Dem3000". First video series that became successful was Ogarnij się which was focused on various lifestyles and views.

Next popular series were film parodies, including Star Trek Przerobiony, a series of satiric videos based on episodes of Star Trek: The Animated Series with first episode, Box (Polish: Pudełko), airing on 14 March 2014 and last one, Memories (Polish: Wspomnienia), on 18 November 2019.

In 2018 his animated series Ponies from Bronks (Polish: Kuce z Bronksu) went viral, after he published 3rd episode of the series, as a continuation for his 2 videos from 2014. The series were satiric parody of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic animated series. Originally author intended them to be silly series mend to annoy series fans, in later episodes, he started referring to current political evens in Poland. The most popular episode was kuce w kolejce, 8h episode of first season, which by March 2021 has over 3.8 million views.

Private life

Jakub Dębski was born on 10 June 1988 in Kraków, Poland where he lives to this day. In 2020 he spoken out with the support of the LGBT rights.
