Aspergers101 is an online free resource for a better understanding of navigating and understanding Asperger Syndrome. Though the name Asperger Syndrome is no longer used in the medical community since eliminated from the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic Manual of Mental Disorders ( DSM-V) in 2013, Aspergers101 continues to provide updated information as Autism Level One with such contributors as Dr. Temple Grandin, Dr. Tony Attwood, Dr. Chris Johnson-Plauche and a host of specialists and those living with ASD.
Aspergers101 was started by Jennifer Allen, whose son Samuel Allen is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Together, they have produced the documentary "Coping to Excelling: Solutions for School Age Children Diagnosed with High Functioning Autism or Asperger Syndrome" as well as founded and grown the Texas program Texas Driving with Disability in which allows citizens with a communication challenge to disclose on the front of their Texas Driver License, State ID or when registering their vehicle through the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles.
