This is my user page. I will eventually find a way to properly format it with lots of groovy flair. Unless that is banned. In any case this is it.

On Metal Gear Solid

This series is essentially the pinancle of Art in gaming. It is the very definition of the term in every sense of the word. One cannot understand or critique the medium as a whole without grasping the essence of this series. Multiple playthroughs are not only necessary, they are essential.

Main Article Anonymus_(chronicler)

Statue of Anonymus. It's real.

This is the most delightful article I have yet found on Wikipedia and it really doesn't get enough attention. Also, this appears to be the earliest example of the Altair hooded cape trope, but I digress and drifting into TV Tropes territory.

Anonymus (Latin for "unnamed"; fl. late 12th century – early 13th century) was the notary and chronicler of a Hungarian King, probably Béla III. Little is known about him, but his latinized name began with P, as he referred to himself as "P. dictus magister".

Anonymus is famous for his work Gesta Hungarorum ("The Deeds of the Hungarians"), written in Latin around 1200. This work provides the most detailed history of the arrival of the Hungarians to the Carpathian Basin (Hungarian: honfoglalás). Most of his attempts to explain the origin of several Hungarian place names are unsupported by modern etymology.
