Bird Island is a new island off the coast of Germany, in the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea National Park. The island has slowly emerged over the past few years and is composed primarily of sandbanks.
Inhabitants
editPer the name, the island is visited by a number of bird species. Nearly 50 species of plants from across Europe have been detected on the island.
