Priroda (Nature) is a progressive Russian scientific journal, founded in 1912 by the Man and the Universe society. It is published monthly and focuses mainly on natural science. It had a circulation of 60,000 in 1974.

editDuring the 1920's it was the publication of the Commission for the Study of the Natural Productivity of Forces of the Academy of Sciences, and in 1930 it became a journal of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR.
