The Will: A Modern Day Treasure Hunt was a book by three authors, that contains the location of a treasure box, containing 49 Krugerrands, worth US$20,000 (equivalent to $67,028 in 2023). The Box was buried within a hundred mile radius of the Empire State Building.[1] It was to be removed if unfound after 10 years.[2][3]

In 1982, a man named Daniel J. Diasio, sued the publisher, claiming that the money was in a Central Park lake, a claim rejected by the authors.[4]
