Base Gravy
A mythical sauce reputed to be used to enhance the flavour profile of curry dishes, though there are many versions of this the original recipe has been lost to the annals of time though it's rumoured to have been recently rediscovered during an archaeological dig in the Patak region of Ajarfromtesco.
Some famous cut and paste wannabe cheffy types claim to have invented it and state it consists of 90% onion which has been treated with the full Mallard effect but in truth only the members of the legendary guild of the Elite guardians of the BIR really know.
I have heard from an official source within the Bedford and Lupton- Price guild that some of the ingredients include the tears of the Delhi Llama which are strained through the wings of fallen angels and combined with secret powders mixed by the unseen Grand master known only as Roy.
