Article review
editI have been interested in the well being of children. One of the subjects is trying to understand the cause for eating disorders. I visited Wikipedia and I found three topics that I would like to comment on, improper information, unclear citation, and spelling errors.
Improper Information
editWhen I read the article at first it did not give any explanation for the cause of Anorexia, nor what could be the consequences, instated of I have to follow the link, and it will take me to another page, which it seems to have more information. Moreover, I had to click on another link to find the information that I need, and I had to follow a trail of links. However, for that reason I found overwhelming.
Unclear citation
editSome of the causes for the Anorexia that are listed do not have citations, and it's not clear enough where the information came from. On the other hand, the article that has citations is not really organized, and some have dead link. This was confusing when I was trying to verify the giving information. In general, the article had too many citations
Spelling
editI went to the article, and I found some spelling errors, which is easy to spot on. When I started to read it, I saw the word that is constantly repeated was ( nervuosa). I would like to make a suggestion to the author that should make corrections to the errors spelling.
Conclusion
editOverall, I would rate this article okay because it explains in general about eating disorders. Unfortunately, however there is no clear information in some of the sections. As well same of the citation aren't much clears, and lack of citations, so I think this page is not a good article. For example; When it described "Eating disorder affecting 12 percent of the dancers". This study was conducted in Europe for that it was only for specific category of people, and the spelling errors I found made it a little confusing.
