Awad khireldin (Arabic: عوض خيرالدين), Egyptian assistant professor in aviation (airport management, safety, and operations); date of birth February 28, 1966, Academically: Awad currently is Assistant Professor, Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), he also an Assistant professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU-Asia), Singapore since March 2016 till now. He has been working as an instructor for more than 18 years, manager of training in the Egyptian Aviation Academy (EAA) in 2009, Freelancer Aviation instructor in the Middle East, Africa, and the Far East, in many Aviation academies/authorities. Education: Awad Khireldin has a Ph.D. in Operations Research, a master's degree in airport Modeling & Simulation, from Cairo University, Egypt. Professionally: Awad was working as General Manager of Air Traffic Management (ATM), Vice head of operations at Cairo international airport (CAI), Egypt, he had joined the aviation industry in 1997 as airport operations officer, been selected by the Airport Council International (ACI) as “Airport Operations and Safety Assessor”. Research interest: Dr. Awad researches are focusing on Airport performance benchmarking, Air Transport Management, and Aviation Safety aspects.
