Lloreda is a district of Badalona (Barcelonès) formerly known as La Balsa. It borders on Nova Lloreda, Montigalà, La Pau, Puigfred and Sistrells.

At the beginning of the 1950s, the lands where the neighborhood is nowadays were sold to Mr. Güell, who parceled and sold them to build it by calling the Urbanization Güell-Costa-Capmany. However, the lands where he was going to build were considered rustic and did not have the permission of the City Council, but nevertheless allowed his urbanization thanks to the contacts of Güell.

The first constructed buildings were demolished by the municipal brigades before the alarm that provoked. Buyers who were people who had just arrived in Catalonia saw their effort on the ground and put pressure on the former owner of the land and finally discovered the reality of the conditions of those lands but, Legality, neighbors began to fight for their rights in the middle of the Franco regime.
