Improper handling of vaccines by a medical professional can also serve as grounds for termination. In one case, the District of Utah found that a medical assistant "not wearing gloves when administering vaccines and opening needle caps with her mouth" demonstrated "a legitimate non-discriminatory reason for her termination."
