My name, propithèque, is the French word for "sifaka" (although they were sometimes referred to by this name in English up until the middle of the 20th century). I'm an American who, like many Wikipedians, is based in the Pacific Northwest. That being said, I've lived all over the country, with Missouri being my adopted home state. My other interest is pre-Columbian Andean archaeology, especially the regarding the Moche and Chimú. I am also an avid cycling fan and was a card-carrying supporter of the late Arkéa–B&B Hotels.
