Braden Larson, also known as independent Hip-Hop musician Baby Bluey, was born September 5, 2007 in Bloomington, Illinois. He grew up in Clinton, Illinois with his mom, dad, step dad, and two sisters (Nora and Mabel).

Bluey has been musically talented from a young age. He would often dance around his house and sing songs while his mom would record him.

When Bluey was just 7 years old, his youngest sister, Mabel, passed away due to a rare disease, “Battens Disease.” This left Bluey and his family heartbroken, but also left Bluey confused. He was young, and didn’t understand the capacity of this disease. Bluey felt like he didn’t get to show his sister the great things he could do, until it was too late. This became Bluey’s main source of motivation, to make his family and his sister proud.

Bluey started getting more and more into music. Artists such as Lil Baby, Polo G, and many more inspired him to start his very own rap journey. In September of 2020 he and his friend KID DRIP were messing around at DRIP’s house and ended up making a song together! At this time however, Bluey didn’t know much about music, he was just having fun, and following the lead of KID DRIP.

Before the name Baby Bluey came about, there were many others. One of Bluey’s first names was “Bman” which is what Bluey and DRIP called him in the song they made.

Since that moment the thought of music and making songs raced around Bluey’s head. He wanted to make music, but he just didn’t know how. Until one day when he discovered an app called BandLab. He then made a few songs! One of them stuck out, and that song was titled “Wasting My Time.” Bluey decided to share his music with the world, and started by posting “Wasting My Time” on YouTube! Little did he know this would be the start of something big.

Within the first two days of Bluey uploading “Wasting My Time” it gained over 550 views! It was an absolute hit. This made Bluey realize that music was his passion.

There was a moment when Bluey and DRIP were sitting in DRIP’s studio. Bluey thought to himself “I should make a rap name.” This led him to posting a poll on his Instagram. The options were “Bluey B Dawg” and “Baby Bluey.” Out of all of the story's viewers, 23% picked “Bluey B Dawg” and the other 77% chose “Baby Bluey!”

In July of 2021, Bluey was outside playing basketball, and then a notification popped up on his phone. An account named “Drippy Draws” had drawn a picture of him and posted it on Instagram! Bluey was amazed at how incredibly talented this art was, he has to know more about who was behind the account. He messaged the person, and they talked for a bit! They had a lot in common, they were both young and trying to pursue their dreams. They talked and Drippy drew his first cover art piece, it was for a song of Bluey’s titled “Rise Of Bluey.” They continued working together, with Drippy then drawing the cover art for “Martian.” Soon, they figured out a new, better fitting name for him.. “King Fez.” From then on, Bluey and Fez have become close friends, and work hard together to keep getting better!

From then on Bluey has continued to strengthen his career in music by making many more songs. One of his most popular singles titled, “It Is My Time” has over 1.7k streams on Spotify! Bluey also released his debut album In January of 2022.

Bluey has continued to put out amazing music people love, and never stops working hard for his dreams.
