Marutinandan Prasad Tiwari
Tiwari is a prominent art historian in the field of Indian sculpture. He has worked on the development of Hindu Iconography. His early writings are based on Jain sculptures and later he described medieval Indian sculptures.In his works he exposed the gestures and postures of the Brahamin, Jain and Buddhist sculptures. His major works are: 1) Madhyakalin Bharatiya Pratima lakshan 2) Jain Sculptures 3) Khajuraho Sculptures, etc.
