The Vauxhall VXR8 Supercharged Carbon is a supercharged version of the normal 414hp, 6 litre VXR8. It is made by Vauxhall in Germany.It is on sale now for £47,500.
Predecessor
editThe predecessor of the VXR8 is the Monaro. The predecessor of the supercharged carbon is the Monaro VXR500. The Monaro VXR500 only cost £37,500 when it was new.
Range
editThe range for the VXR8 includes a 6 litre with 414hp [£35,105] a 6.2 litre with 425hp [£35,695] a 6 litre supercharged with 533hp [£48,190] the supercharged carbon with 660hp [£47,500] and a forthcomming 7 litre with 570hp [about £45,000].
Performance
editThe performance is quite good because of the 660hp from the 6 litre V8 engine and the kerb weight of 1831kg, 0-60 takes 4.4 seconds and the top speed is 193mph.

editVauxhall has lots of brand names. In Germany they are called Opel, in the US Pontiac, America Saturn and Australia Holden.
