Rock Lee FA Nomination

edit

I believe this article, though recently giving Good Article status, qualifies all of the criteria for a featured article. I have been through the entire article, correcting passive voice, incorrect use of the past tense, and generally cleaning up the writing in small ways that greatly improve the prose. The article covers all details relevant to the character, his place in the anime and manga, and his reception and outside influence. The article is accessible to even those who are not aware of the Naruto universe, and would make a great featured article. If there are any suggestions or problems with the article, I would be happy to take care of them in rapid fashion. Scapler (talk) 23:42, 7 October 2008 (UTC)

Support as nominator - Well-written, well-cited article. Rock Lee deserve featured article status. Scapler (talk) 23:42, 7 October 2008 (UTC)

Obama Quote

edit

Obama responded with an explanation of how his tax plan would affect a small business in this bracket. He stated,

It's not that I want to punish your success. I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they've got a chance at success, too. And I think that when we spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody.[1]

This article contains nothing but plot summary. It treats its subject as a real-world person, and does not assert notability of this particular fictional character. Essentially, it is fancruft that contains absolutely no real world information. This should be deleted per WP:What Wikipedia is not#Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information: "Wikipedia treats fiction in an encyclopedic manner, discussing the reception, impact, and significance of notable works."
