Karim Bakhsh better known by his pen name Zorrakh is a Baloch Poet and writer who is followed in the region of Koh-e-Sulaiman. He is famous for his deep knowledge of Balochi literature. He is one of the most celebrated writers and poets of Koh-e-Sulaiman.

Biography

Zorrakh Buzdar was born on Februry 4, 1971 in the beautiful vellay, Khoryalli, a small village in Koh-e-Sulaiman and was named Karim Bakhsh. He belongs to Buzdar family which is a major Baloch tribe. He completed his early education in Fazla Kach. Then he developed an interest in Islam and Balochi Culture. He guided the people of Koh-e-Sulaiman with his poetry and writings. He was fond of reading books. He not only read Islamic books but also read the Balochi litreture. Poetry of Chig-ha Buzdar and Mast Tokli inspired him to become a poet. He is considered as the best interpreter of the poetry of Chig-ha Buzdar. He also struggled for the rights of people of Koh-e-Sulaiman. He criticised the government to take steps and ensure better lifestyle for the people. He is one of the co-founders of Balochi Adbi Dewaan and currently working with this organization for the protection of Balochi language and culture.
