Gillian Ashcroft

Gillian Patricia Ashcroft (born 1^st February 1985) is an English entrepreneur and philanthropist who founded Exceptional Care Limited, a residential care provider for children and young people, and Think Tank Academy Limited, an e-learning training provider in the United Kingdom’s social care sector.

Ashcroft was awarded the John Caudwell Award and the Great British Entrepreneur Award for North West at the Allica Bank Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2023, one of the most prestigious entrepreneurial accolades, with over 5,000 applicants this year

Outside of her business interests, Ashcroft has been a vocal campaigner for social care reform, most recently calling on the United Kingdom Government to set out its action plan to improve care provision for children and adults.
