My name is Brendan Ritchie. I have a training in philosophy and a long-standing interest in Ethiopia. I expect to do a good deal of my editing, at least initially, at the intersection of these two areas, where there seems to be a good deal of need. At present I'm particularly interested in the articles on Ethiopian philosophy, Zera Yacob, Walda Heywat, Hatata, Claude Sumner, and anything else of close relevance. Other than these articles, my blog about Ethiopian philosophy is pretty much the only online resource for this topic.
Some other areas of philosophy where I have expertise are ancient philosophy and moral philosophy. I'd also be able to contribute to topics in epistemology, philosophy of religion, and Indian and Chinese philosophy.
