Bijender Yadav ( born 12 June 1968 ) is an Indian politician and Ghaziabad district president of Indian National Congress who served as the General Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee from 2015 to 2019. Yadav was the Director of Zila Sahkari Bank Ltd. Ghaziabad from 1995 to 2018, Currently his daughter Chhavi Yadav is the director. He is the son of veteran congress politician Nepal Singh Yadav, the former two time member of Zila Panchayat Ghaziabad.
Early life and education
Yadav was born on 12 June 1968 in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh to Late Bhagvati Devi and Nepal Singh Yadav, native of village Shahpur Bamheta. His mother passed away in 2009. His father had been a Member of Zila Panchayat in Ghaziabad, two times. He completed his schooling from MMH Inter College, Ghaziabad and obtained his Bachelor’s from CCS University.
Political career
He started his political career in his school. Under his presidentship, party won Ghaziabad Lok Sabha Constituency after 20 years and last till now.
Yadav is the Member of All India Congress Committee since 2015 and President of District Congress Committee Ghaziabad since 2019, first held the office from 2013 to 2015.

Family
He is the younger brother of Gyan Chand Yadav, President of Sahibabad Adhati Samiti since 3 decades. He is married to Madhu Yadav. They have three children : Chhavi Yadav, Ashutosh Yadav and Geetanjali Yadav.
