Introduction   Verifiability   Stability   Nature of Article Subject

Sometimes, the nature of the subject of the article will make it inherently riskier than other articles. Articles are generally risker in this fashion when the subject is controversial or prone to vandalism.

Controversial

Controverisal subjects will be prone to edit wars, bias and generally rash edits. As a result, controversial subjects will be riskier.

For example, articles such as Bible, Intelligent Design and An Inconvenient Truth are controversial topics which may experience issues.

Vandalism Prone

The following types of articles may be vandalism prone and therefore riskier:

  • Commonly visited article
  • Articles of explicit nature
  • Articles likely to be edited solely for vandalism (e.g. Gay, Penis)
  • Articles about common subjects learned in school (e.g. George Washington)
