Dr. Binoy Jacob Pichalakkattu SJ is a Jesuit of Kerala Province, India. He holds Doctorates in Mathematical Sciences (India) and Systematic Theology (USA). He is actively involved in promoting science-religion dialogue both nationally and internationally. He has published books which include 'Bridging Mathematics, Philosophy and Theology: Fuzzy Logical Thinking for Science-Religion Dialogue' (2017) and numerous articles both in national and international journals, and presented papers on topics related to science, philosophy and religion.

He is a visiting faculty in institutions in India and abroad. He is a recipient of 'Alpha Sigma Nu' from Santa Clara University in Berkeley, California, USA (2013) which recognizes academicians who distinguish themselves in scholarship, loyalty and service with consistent pursuit of intellectual development and social commitment.  He is the founder director of Loyola Institute of Peace and International Relations (LIPI), Kochi, Kerala State, India. Currently he is the Director of LIPI and the Managing Editor of  PAX LUMINA (English) and EZHUTHU (Malayalam/ a literary – cultural – scientific magazine), published by LIPI. He is also serving as the Coordinator of Kerala Jesuit Higher Education the Coordinator of  Peace and Reconciliation Network of the Jesuit Conference of South Asia and the Chaplain of Newman Association of India (Kerala Chapter).
