Hi!

I'm Blint, a full-time nerd and part-time contributer and newcomer to Wikipedia.

I love learning new things, and since forever have been reading, or listening to the audio versions of Wikipedia articles, and one day, I just wanted to contribute!

And so, I started! I like to think of myself as a "Jr. WikiGnome" of sorts. I'm not quite qualified enough yet to make major changes on articles, and so I mainly like maintaining and helping the back rooms of Wikipedia of sorts.

Interests

I've been an amateur programmer for about 6 years now, and I've always loved working on the back-ends of projects. That's part of the reason I love maintaining the loose ends of Wikipedia.

At one point, I was also highly into geography, but that's faded away over time.

I've also recently taken a loving to electronics, specifically just messing around with microcontrollers and general hobbyist things.

Nowadays, I spend most of my time programming, studying, or making electronic projects, but I also love contributing to Wikipedia!

I also quite like computer hardware, and have tinkered around with PCs, laptops, and phones pretty much my whole life.

In terms of music, I'm into experimental hip-hop, rock, grunge, hardcore EDM (specifically scenecore), and to some degree, metal. Some of my favorite artists (in no particular order) include:

Lately (specifically since April 2026), I've gotten really into Team Fortress 2, and I think it's kinda becoming a problem considering how much time and money I spend on it...

I also have gotten quite interested in mechanics recently, and love looking under, into, and working with cars and other such devices.

What I do on Wikipedia

As a WikiGnome, to be fair, I don't do much. I mainly just enjoy de-orphaning articles and doing other not-so-important jobs. In a more metaphorical example, I like to imagine myself running frantically around Wikipedia obsessing over the smallest inconsistencies and mistakes, and fixing them. To be honest, I think that describes my personality as a whole.

I'm also a proud member of WikiProject Orphanage, because, as earlier stated, I love de-orphaning articles. Its kinda just a chill, mindless activity for me.

About Me/Trivia

I'm from Budapest, but currently live in Heves County, and I will NOT say specifically where :-)

I have autism and ADHD, and for those reasons (among others) I'm homeschooled.

I once got trapped at a gas station in Croatia for more than an hour because our car broke down.

I made my (quite underwhelming) 100th Wikipedia edit on exactly 1:44 PM, July 21, 2026 Budapest time by removing a stale dead-end template from the Wikipedia page Raoul Serres. And, as I am writing this, once I publish this update to the trivia section that you are reading right now, I will make my 101st edit!

My favorite colors, in order, are the following:

1. Onyx black i made that redirect :3
2. Skobeloff really underrated
3. Turquoise used to be my all-time favorite
