Career

edit

Beginning his career at Holbæk B&I, Staugaard moved to the youth academy of Brøndby IF in January 2017.[2] He impressed as part of the under-17 team, and signed a three-year contract extension in December 2017.[2] Staugaard established himself as a key part of the under-19 team, but suffered a leg injury which kept him out for an extended period of time.[3] On 19 May 2020, he signed a one-year contract as he became part of the newly established under-20 team alongside Jacob Rasmussen, Jagvir Singh Sidhu and Andreas Pyndt.[4]
