I primarily use this account to clean up existing pages, and to develop pages related to public institutions, topics in the social sciences and humanities, or local history. I work in education, and I am broadly left-wing.
I like to remove fluff, and add balance to articles that seem promotional in tone. I want to improve representation by developing articles about underrepresented persons and groups.
I usually pick a project to work on until it has stabilized in quality.
I think it's important to improve the quality of articles of people who have recently passed away, and I find that work to be meaningful. I think improving biographies so that they are evenhanded and comprehensive helps to preserve memory.
At the moment, I'm particularly proud of the work I've done to improve the Lester Frank Ward page. My favorite article that I've created is Ovy on the Drums.
