Hi, I am BRADSHAW79 and am a retired medical practioner and currently living in the beautiful town of Llangollen, Denbighshire, North Wales.
My current interests are local history ( I am a volunteer member at the Llangollen Museum of Local History), and I am researching into the early history of the University of Manchester, and it's connections with Charles Beyer of Llantysilio Hall (2 miles up the canal from Llangollen Town).
I graduated in Medicine at the University of Manchester in 1984 and was familiar with the Beyer Building. It was where everybody who graduated had their pictures taken with the Beyer Building in the background!
I am also very passionate about railway history. I love the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester (MOSI) and look forward to doing some personal research from their extensive Victorian archives. I have also extended my passion to Canals.
