Brokenstar
editBrokenstar is a longhaired, dark brown tabby tom with amber eyes and a broad, flattened face.
Brokenstar was the leader of ShadowClan in the first Warriors' book, Into The Wild. Brokenstar was born to ShadowClan's medicine cat of the time, Yellowfang, along with two other siblings, who died. He was made ShadowClan's deputy later in life, then when he was patrolling he pretended that he had found traces of ThunderClan on their territory, and when his leader of the time and father, Raggedstar came to his aid, then Brokenstar (who was Brokentail at the time) murdered Raggedstar, then took his body back to camp and told a story that he had been ambushed by ThunderClan, later, took two apprentices out for battle training and killed them both, then left them in Yellowfang's den, and said that she had murdered them, then exiled Yellowfang, then ThunderClan took her in. Then, as ShadowClan's leader, Brokenstar chased WindClan out of their territory, and took over their territory. Then, as bloodthirsty as ever, he sent a ShadowClan warrior, Clawface, to steal ThunderClan kits therefor ShadowClan did not have any to make into apprentices, and he killed ThunderClan's beloved medicine cat, Spottedleaf, in the process, and took two of a ThunderClan queen's, Frostfur's, kits, Cinderkit and Brackenkit. After the kits where stolen, then it waas noticed that ThunderClan's prisoner, Yellowfang, was away from camp, so they suspected her of having taken the kits. A young apprentice, Firepaw, was sent to look for her, and bring her back to be questioned, he took his best friend, Graypaw with him, and they found yellowfang, who had been looking for Clawface and she had picked up his scent, along with that of the missing camp. Firepaw told a ThunderClan patrol what had happened while Yellowfang went looking for some ShadowClan elders who lived on the border after Brokenstar had banished them from ShadowClan. When she found them, they all, along with the elders and the ThunderClan patrol, raided ShadowClan, rescued the kits, and made Brokenstar flee from ShadowClan as a rouge. Brokenstar, along with the warriors' that left ShadowClan with him, raided ThunderClan, during the battle, his own mother, Yellowfang, who had been made ThunderClan's medicine cat in Spottedleaf's place, scratches his eyes and left him blind. He was then made into ThunderClan's prisoner. Still as bloodthirsty, he plotted with ThunderClan's evil deputy, Tigerclaw, to let him make contact with his former rouges, and Tigerclaw led them to ThunderClan to try and kill Bluestar in the thick of the battle. Yellowfang, to put a stop to his deadly plotting, fed Brokenstar deathberries, which killed him in seconds.
