There's really not much I wish to say here, other than the most basic information about myself in relation to any edits I may make on Wikipedia.
I'm a professional copy editor. I'm also an amateur astronomer of long experience and a docent at the Rose Center for Earth and Space, American Museum of Natural History. In addition, I'm a student of military and aviation history.
I use Wikipedia a lot, both for my work and for my own pursuit of knowledge.
I occasionally spot something that seems to me to be an error. If it really seems to cry out to me for correction, I attempt to correct it.
I must admit that I find the rules and procedures for making edits or queries on Wikipedia to be complex and confusing. So I have had some difficulty in making those edits and queries sometimes.
I will keep on trying, though, when it seems to me that it needs to be done.
