Mr Morrison

Back in the 1800s an engineer proposed at scheme to join all rivers from Queensland through inner NSW to SA and Victoria. The construction would involve dams, pipe lines and channels. If this was investigated now with our advancement in technology and understanding of environmental issues the proposal would be a huge economical and environmental advantage for Australia. Construction would employ many in the country side. The power from the dams would produce clean Hydro power, the water would help greatly producers in the inner areas of Queensland, NSW, Victoria and SA. These areas would support increased employment and produce production. This would be one of the biggest projects ever attempted any where in the world, And one of the most extensive and one of the most expensive BUT the economical returns, both in power generation, produce production and employment would be the most significant advantages economically to the whole of Australia. The expense in the project would be far out waived by the production of Hydro power output, irrigation and employment.
