After our meeting in IRC, I think it is safe to say that you should focus on fighting vandalism, getting familiar with policy, and participate in project name space. (i.e. Esperanza, RfA's, AfD's, and WikiProject's) KnowledgeOfSelf | talk 18:47, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
(Please note: That this is all hypothetical :-D)
Hey Bugs, I'd like to start with these questions:
- If user X changes the image of the silicon dildo in the article "Dildo", to an image of a Banana' what test template would you use?
- {{test1-n}}
- If you see that two editors are in a heated discussion concerning an article you are not familiar with, and you see that something should be done to calm things down. (i.e. preventing a violation of the WP:3RR or WP:NPA) How would you mediate?
- Start a discussion ont he talk page of the article and the users talk page. Block them for a few hours or until they contact me where we can then sort it out.
- You find yourself blocked because of a violation of the 3RR rule. How would you react, and what would you do?
- Find out why first via the contribs and then contact the administrator who blocked me.
And when your done with those, have a look at some of this lovely stuff...
- Someone just harrassed you on your talk page because of a certain view you have taken on a certain subject. How do you react?
- State that I am open to all opinions.
- A vandal repeatedly messes up your favorite article, and doesn't seem to stop. You think that the only way that they can be stopped is chewing them out on their talk page. Not just test templates, but harsh capitalized words. Is this appropriate?
- No. I would request an outside view/administrator to deal with the problem.
- You have created a userbox that offends someone, and they want it speedied. What do you do?
- Tell them that they don't have to look at my userpage or use it on their page.
