This is a shortened version of the guideline Wikipedia:Reviewing good articles, which outlines the conditions under which a review will be granted credit at a GAN reviewing drive. The purpose of this criteria is to make sure that reviews are of adequate quality and help nominators improve their article.
- Your review must explicitly address all the GA criteria. An easy way to do this is by using one of the GAN templates.
- You must check at least some of the sources to verify the article content, or at a bare minimum verify the most important points in the article through alternate means. (See WP:Reviewing good articles#Verification)
- Media and text copyright/plagiarism issues must be thoroughly examined. The easiest way to check text for plagiarism is using Earwig's Copyvio Detector. Media copyright can be complicated, so please contact one of the coordinators if you are unsure of the copyright status of an image.
- Unless the article is very short, please make sure to provide at least one substantive suggestion for improvements (beyond minor grammar/stylistic corrections).
