Hi, my name is Josh, and I guess you could consider me a newbie around here. I'm a strong believer in the philosophy behind Wikipedia, and as such I plan to make contributions whenever I possibly can. At this juncture I don't feel I am in a position to contribute anything of major importance, like new articles, but what I can do for now, is check/edit/correct grammar, typos or continuity errors that I come across. Every little bit helps right?
As far as personal interests go, I like anything pertaining to science (I'm studying chemistry in school right now), music, politics, culture. I often browse Wikipedia articles on a variety of topics not limited to the aforementioned, and I always end up clicking on links within the articles and find myself somewhere I didn't expect to be, reading about something I didn't expect to read about, and always learning something new. Verbosity is the name of the game. To exemplify, here are some recent pages I've hit which may give you an good idea of how cool I am:
thiosulfate ion, Jenna Haze, dez, Noam Chomsky,
faurisson affair, arms dealing, lord of war, Bretton Woods, holocaust denial, oxalate, monsanto, cocaine, lysergic acid diethylamide, diphenhydramine, acetylcholine, discordia, Ukraine, Kava
So you can see I'm all over the place. PS: Feel free to edit this page if you find errors or any such thing. I consent. It's all in the interest of making this place even better than it already is.
