Outline of proposed changes

edit

Proposed changes:

  • Add history of Le Fort fractures (how they came to be named)
  • Add section on anatomy and better define the types of Le Fort fractures
  • Add section which discusses how the term "Le Fort Fractures" is used and some more modern classifications of mid-face trauma
  • Re-organize "Signs and Symptoms" section
  • Create new section entitled "Physical Exam" where I discuss the full exam for mid-face trauma including "can't miss" findings
  • Update "Diagnosis" section as this section is a little outdated (talks about using plain radiographs).
  • Update "Treatment" section as this section contains techniques over 10 years old
