CSCunningham
My Aunt instilled an interest in my Cunningham and Scottish heritage at a very young age. With my Aunt and family, we attended the first New Hampshire Highland Games & Festival in 1976. It wasn't until I had my children that my interest in our family's heritage was rekindled. We, as a family, had regularly attended the New Hampshire Highland Games & Festival; on the drive home, my oldest daughter asked why the Cunninghams did not have a Tent in the Clan Village. We continued our discussion about the issue, and as a family, it was decided that I would look into how one goes about hosting a Clan Cunningham tent at a Scottish Highland/Festival. After performing my due diligence, I discovered that in most Scottish festivals, to host a clan tent, I had to be affiliated with a clan organization. I chose to join Clan Cunningham USA, which later became Clan Cunningham International.
For several years I have been researching and writing about the historical aspects of the Cunningham Family. I have posted more than 200 Facebook posts that highlight the family's contribution throughout the World. These stories can be seen by visiting the Clan Cunningham Facebook Group.
