Jackie Chan's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Jackie Chan, SBS, MBE[1] (born Chan Kong-sang, ; 7 April 1954)[2] is a Hong Kong actor, action choreographer, comedian, director, producer, martial artist, screenwriter, entrepreneur, singer, and stunt performer who has appeared in over 150 films. Throughout his career Chan has been nominated for and won numerous awards in many categories, including some awards for special lifetime achievements, contributions or talent recognition.[3]

"I collect the films of Buster Keaton, Harold Lloyd, and Akira Kurosawa, and I sit down and go, “Good film! Yes!” I want one day for people to remember me like that. That’s all. That’s enough. I’ve broken my finger and I’ve broken my ankle. Enough! There are too many things going on [in the world today]. I want to make people laugh and I want to try to encourage world peace."
