Lorena Russi

Lorena Russi Serna (born April 12,1991) is a Colombian-American stand up comedian, writer, director, photographer and actress. She ventured into comedy through improv, she studied at the Magnet Theater. [1] In 2016 she was hired to be a writer at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and was also cast as a host for Chipotle’s Snapchat channel. In 2018 she directed her short film New Neighbors that was well-received around the independent film festival circuit.

In 2019 she was also featured in the movie Isn’t it Romantic (2019 film) [2] with Rebel Wilson and founded her new YouTube channel La Rata. Her parents are often cast in her video projects.

Lorena also frequently performs at the Magnet Theater in various improv teams. [3] In 2018 Time Out named her "LGBTQ POC comedians we're obsessed with right now." [4]
