Welcoming Committee?

Are you part of a Welcoming Committee? That's very nice of you. I have been active at wikibooks, and only created a login here so I could leave a signed message on someone else's talk page.

As you can see from my user page, I am really home at wikibooks. I can hardly wait until we get a single sign on!

Do you think the redirect on my user page is a good idea? Do you think it would be a good idea to put the redirect on my talk page, too, so friendly people like yourself will know where to find me when they want to say hello?

How to use images from commons ?

I added 3 images to inflection point, but afterwards realized I should have put them in Wiki commons. I loaded the 3 images there, under the same name, but I can't get rid of the images I uploaded to Wikipedia. How do I get rid of those and redirect the inflection point article to find the illustrations under the same name in Wiki commons ? StuRat 08:58, 25 August 2005 (UTC)

Why would you want to delete them? I'm not very good with images, sorry, but from what I can gather, just link them exactly the same as you would had they been at commons...

Lists of categories and templates

Where can I find a list of templates and categories for use on Wikipedia. I am new to editing pages, etc. on wikipedia (i have been however a long time user of wikipedia for school assignments, etc.).

Jynx (Pokemon)

What I saw was purple, but anyway, a lot of people think that Jynx is ugly so that's why I suggested to make that picture into a link. So people can choose whether to see it or not. jynx 07:15, 31 August 2005 (UTC)

Is it really impossible to change it into a link though? Pokemon fans are mainly kids. I don't see slugs have a lot of fans. Biologists might look at them for researches. jynx 03:47, 1 September 2005 (UTC)
