Amzie Adams is a multimedia artist, painter, poet, actor, musician, and filmmaker of New Orleans who has been a French Quarter icon for over fifty years.[1] His artwork depicts New Orleans culture and architecture in a unique style all his own, a blend of psychedelic dreamscapes, vibrant twisting color palates and soulful figures in a style he describes as ‘post-impressionistic spacialism’. His work embodies and displays the classic and bohemian flairs of the French Quarter and Faubourg Marigny, the heart and soul of New Orleans.[2]
