More than 1,000,000 Beetle's were assembled in the plant in southwestern Brussels which was transferred from the ownership of its creator, Pieter D‘Ieteren, to Volkswagen only in 1970.The evening sun presents its own challenges, but I couldn't list Volkswagen pictures without a Golf. This was one I rented from (I think) Avis around 1990, photographed here in Umbria.
