Dorothy Stringer Dance Show

edit

The Dorothy Stringer Dance Show is an annual event organised by the students and staff of Dorothy Stringer School in Brighton, UK. It is known for showcasing a wide variety of dance styles and performances, choreographed and performed by the students. Although the first Dorothy Stringer Dance Show took place in 2005, it truly gained momentum when it moved to the Brighton Dome in 2007.

Since 2007, the show has been held at the end of the Let’s Dance event, which had already been running at the Dome for two years. The partnership with Let’s Dance significantly boosted the profile of the Dorothy Stringer Dance Show, making it a key fixture in Brighton’s performing arts calendar.

The show has always been directed by Chloe Sampson, formerly known as Chloe Kemp, who has guided the event’s development since its inception. Her leadership and creative direction have been instrumental in shaping the show’s success over the years.
