About me
editChicagoEric is currently a student at Saint Xavier University in Chicago, IL. He attended Moraine Valley Community College and SXU intermittently from 1996 – 2001 as a communications major. After leaving his academic career in 2001, ChicagoEric passionately worked in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans-gendered community. Dedicated to empowering and advancing the LGBT movement, he devoted over 10 years of service in a LGBT establishment that focused on engaging all members of the community inside a safe and energetic atmosphere. After deep consideration, he decided the best way to make a profound difference in the world was to devote his life to the help and care of others. With this important decision, ChicagoEric re-enrolled at MVCC in 2014 and earned an Associate of Science degree in the 2016 and reenrolled at SXU's in the fall of 2016. He is projected to graduate in the fall of 2018.
Early life and Hobbies
editChicagoEric was born on July 26, 1978 at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park, IL. He grew up in "Evergreen" and graduated from Evergreen Park High School in 1996. Eric is an avid chess player with a Class B rating and an accomplished tournament, league bowler and collegiate bowler. His other hobbies include discussing American History, watching documentaries, interacting on social media,writing, drinking good coffee and engaging in fantastic conversations. He resides in Oak Lawn, IL and commutes to Saint Xavier University.

- Ted Kaczynski: Eric grew up in the same town and graduated from the same high school as as Kaczynski. He was a senior in 1996 at Evergreen Park High School when "the unabomber" was arrested for his crimes. Also, he bowled with one of Ted Kaczynski's high school teachers.
- Wayne Huizenga: Eric grew up in Evergreen Park where Wayne Huizenga also lived.
- Comiskey Park: Eric is a big Chicago White Sox fan and attended the last series at "old" Comiskey Park.
- Clint Hill: Eric considers Mr. Hill one of the most fascinating Americans alive and had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Hill at a book signing in May, 2016.
- Earl Athony: As a collegiate bowler, Eric considers him one of the best bowlers ever to compete and one of his favorite ten-pin bowlers of all time.
- John Ericks: Ericks is Eric's first cousin and he plans on expanding his page.
- Carmen Salvino: Salvino is a Chicago native and one of Eric's favorite bowlers. Eric plans on contributing more information to his page.
