Chidong (was born Chidong Tuel Gatwech Pan on 04/05/1990) is a South Sudanese IT and a former political activist.
Chidong was born to a Nuer family in the village of Giil, Leer in the Unity State of Sudan (now South Sudan). Chidong was a young child Born when the incident of 1991 took place in Bor. His father Michael Tuel Gatwech was a soldier fighting alongside Sudan People's Liberation Army (SPLA). And when he was roughly eleven years old, he dodged forced child soldier recruitment which engulfed large parts of Southern Sudan. He then decided to travel North to Khartoum where he pursuit his study there.
