[1]Chinmay sharma is 21 years old tang soo do(Korean karate) athlete of India. India’s only tang soo do athlete who is currently a world record holder. Chinmay was born in West Delhi ,india . He was always an aggressive kid he used to get into fights in school, and felt an adrenaline rush in it. It was his elder brother Puneet sharma, a martial arts trainer himself, who suggested that he should channel this aggression in a positive way. It is here where Chinmay’s tryst with martial arts started.  Within no time, he rose up the ladders and won the gold medal in the very first tournament he participated in, the Delhi Taekwondo Championships, at just 9 years old.

He went on to achieve several state and national level recognitions in Taekwondo over the years.

However, he changed his martial arts discipline after coming to know of Tang Soo Do in 2012. He participated in first tang soo do national championship in 2013 and achieved gold medal in national.

Recently Chinmay sharma came in limelight when he broke the world record of pakistan in category of most elbow strikes in one min alt hand record at world biggest record platform Guinness world record .
