I've only recently joined this side of Wikipedia and am still learning some of the basics(we all start somewhere).

A little about myself, I live in the D(M)V area, I would consider myself an expert swimmer as I've swam competitively my whole life adn continue too. I am currently working towards a career in EMS and/or Firefighting. As an addition to that I am also currently am taking an EMT class at my local rescue squad to gain experience.

Interests

edit

The things I am most interested in are topics related to civil defense particularly firefighting and EMS, government, as in the structure and function of them. Other interests are those of nautical and logistical themes. I also dabble in the swimming and Lego pages too.

A short list of some of the fun facts I have accrued over my years.

...when a boat reaches 500 tons it becomes a ship, so therefore a boat can fit on a ship but a ship cannot fit on a boat.

...only 11% percent of the world including me are left handed.

...the Hawaiian alphabet has only 13 letters.

...boats do not have ropes they have lines.
