The Orbit is an Enterprise ride at California's Great America in Santa Clara, California and formerly at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois. Both versions of the ride opened on their respective park's grand openings in 1976.

editThe Gurnee version of the Orleans Orbit was an opening day attraction for the grand opening of Marriott's Great America on May 26, 1976. It was then located in Orleans Place. The ride was later moved to Hometown Square and renamed The Orbit.[1]
